A cookbook for chef Shaun Hill who established The Merchant House restaurant in Ludlow, Shropshire. Winning a Michelin star, this small simple restaurant put Ludlow on the foodie map, attracting food connoisseurs
and celebrities alike. This book reproduces many of Shaun's award winning recipes along with explaining his techniques and philosophy behind his cooking.
A cookbook for brothers Adrian and Michael Daniel who established the multi-award-winning restaurant, The Gate,
in London. The cooking at The Gate reflects the diverse cultural background in which they grew up - what they refer to as Indo-Iraqi Jewish. A unique vegetarian dining experience which is influenced by the brothers' own grandmother.
Our design presented not only the amazing end dishes but focussed on the work behind
the scenes at the restaurant
and highlighted their use of ingredients from all over the world.
What wine goes with which food best? With top UK chef Mark
Hix and established wine writer Malcolm Gluck the answers were readily available. Our challenge was to design the title so the reader could easily understand who was saying what and when. Clever use of typography,
tints and layout enabled easy navigation between the two authors and allowed for an engaging and informative reading experience.

The definitive illustrated guide to the history and varieties of Rum available, one of the world's oldest spirits. The cover was created by us to evoke the typical shacks found in and around the caribbean with a sun-blistered and weathered 'rum' painted on its side. In actual fact this was created entirely digitally with the use of roughed up photocopies and some Photoshop trickery.
