'If you have the slightest interest in astronomy or even the 'bigger' physical picture about where we fit into it all, then this book is a must for your collection. It's wonderfully written and stunningly graphic. As for the content, it's the best layman's terms overview to what is out there in our galaxy that I've come across (so no need for a PhD in Physics or Cosmology). With over 200 billion stars in our own cosmic neighbourhood it's difficult for us to grasp the sheer scale involved, but this majestic book is the closest thing you'll get to a galactic guide.'
