To coincide with the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar celebrations, the
Royal Mail launched a set
of commemorative stamps.
For them we designed the stamps' Presentation Pack,
First Day Cover and the official Postmarks that accompany
the stamps. The pack focuses
on what life was like aboard Nelson's flagship, HMS Victory, seen through the diary entries
of a midshipman with the forthcoming battle illustrated
with a detailed diagram of the strategic positioning of the opposing fleets.
On the reverse, the legacy of Nelson's victory is communicated via a seachart, which highlights key moments of Britain's naval history, from the Arctic convoys
to the adventurous bravery of Dame Ellen MacArthur.
