Heston’s Fantastical Feasts

This book accompanied Heston Blumenthal’s hugely successful Channel 4 series ‘Heston’s Feasts’, where each week the acclaimed chef would create a fantastical dinner inspired by history, literature or legend. Each chapter charts the creation of a feast, with its challenges and ideas, culminating in the final recipe. Our approach was to create a fairy-tale tome with richly illustrated decorative elements framing recipes and texts, with special gold printing throughout to create a lavish and evocative experience for the reader. A special limited-edition version that came in a decorated gold-foil-blocked slipcase was also produced. The illustrations were done by Tom Lane.
