New Psychedelia
Leif Podhajsky is an Australian graphic designer, artist and art director, known for the distinctive and psychedelic approach to album covers he has designed for some of the past decade’s biggest electronic, indie and psychedelic artists. Grade was delighted to work very closely with Leif on designing his first monograph to catalogue his achievements and explain the philosophy behind his design approach with case studies for bands such as Tame Impala, Foals, Mount Kimbie, Bonobo, London Grammar, Of Monsters and Men and more. Our choice of French type designer Benoît Bodhuin’s distinctive ‘Ballpill’ typeface provided an appropriate tone for the kaleidoscopic and exploratory creations.
