Ocean Liners
Speed and Style

Created to accompany the joint exhibition at London’s V&A museum and America’s Peabody Essex Museum, Ocean Liners: Speed and Style celebrates the glamour, creativity and opulence from the golden age of ocean liners. Major decorative trends of the 20th century – Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Modernism – are all encapsulated within this lavish visual feast, with the book exploring the fields of interior design, furniture, fabrics and clothing, as well as ship design and the societal impact of such travel. We created two cover designs for the book for the respective museums, each illustrated from classic poster advertising of the period.
