Stonehenge: Story of an Icon

English Heritage commissioned us to design and produce a new illustrated book for the charity’s best-known site, Stonehenge. The book tells the complete story of Stonehenge, from its prehistoric origins to the present day, exploring its construction and the lives of the people who built it. It also features a newly commissioned four-page fold-out illustration reconstructing Stonehenge during its construction. Our restrained layouts, clean design and elegant typography present complex information in a clear and accessible  way, while creating a contemporary, engaging aesthetic that enhances the reader’s experience.
