William Morris: Pattern & Design
William Morris (1834–1896) was a pioneer of the Arts and Crafts Movement and one of the most influential designers of all time. This compact, extensively illustrated sourcebook brings together nearly 400 of Morris’s ingenious textile and wallpaper patterns, arranged decade by decade. The book features a jacket that reveals a second cover beneath, and all text is printed in British Racing Green Pantone. To maximise the page layouts, captions are set sideways, running up the inner margins, so as not to detract from the impact of these extraordinary designs.
