Castle Howard
Castle Howard is often described as Britain’s most sublime country house, recognised worldwide as the setting for Brideshead Revisited and Bridgerton. Set in Yorkshire, it occupies one of the most spectacular locations of any historic building in the UK. Grade were delighted to be invited by the publisher Scala to design and produce the official guidebook for this most illustrious of Britain’s great country houses. Written by Christopher Ridgway, Curator of Castle Howard, the book is divided into two sections: the first focuses on the architecture, lavish interiors, and collections; the second explores the magnificent parkland and grounds. Two editions were produced: a hardback with quarter-binding and a paperback edition.
