Medicine:
An Imperfect Science

Medicine: An Imperfect Science was published to accompany the opening of the new medicine galleries in late 2019 at London’s Science Museum. It is the official companion guide to the new galleries, as well as being a standalone, in-depth title on medical history and science. The permanent exhibition at the museum includes the extensive historical collection of Henry Wellcome, whose personal archive of medical items has been on long-term loan to the museum. The book is divided into separate but connected chapters, reflecting the structure of the new galleries.
